Return to East Greenville Borough
Railroad Street – Rober Subdivision
The plans propose the subdivision of a property, formerly an auto body
repair shop, into three lots. One lot is proposed to maintain the former
auto body shop, now used for storage, and two residential lots. Each
residential lot is proposed to have a semidetached dwelling (Twin). This
project would include extending Railroad Street to the front of the
residential dwellings. At the February meeting, the Planning Commission
recommended sending this plan to Borough Council for their approval.
Borough Council approved the subdivision on March 11, 2009.
413 Jefferson Street
The conditional use
application to convert the nonconforming industrial use into twelve
condominium units was approved by Borough Council on December 15, 2008.
A land development application was reviewed by the Planning Commission
and recommended for approval. Borough Council reviewed the approval and
approved the project at their April meeting. This project includes rehabilitating the
building into twelve dwelling units, upgrading the parking and storm
water facilities.
